Carlos Santana is one of rock's premiere guitarists and all it takes is one listen to this CD to hear why. Since Legacy is in the process of upgrading the Santana catalog, it makes perfect sense for them to upgrade Santana's Greatest Hits while they're at it. The Best of Santana features all the hits, plus a few choice album tracks. The booklet includes new liner notes, and a Santana 'family tree,' listing all the musicians who have played in the various incarnations of the band. This is a great disc for someone who is just discovering the band, as well as the longtime fans that want a good cross section of the group's material.
